Washington D.C. here I come! I'll be looking at this all next semester.

Starting of Conference

It was beautiful downtown. We were edified by all the talks given to us at the General Relief Society Meeting. Liz pulled a quick one and got us tickets to the conference center which always makes the experience better. We packed our MUSS shirts in backpacks so we could catch the last half of the Utes game when it was over.
We took trax to the conference center and missed the train by one minute. We decided to take the univeristy train and hopefully catch another train downtown. We saw the train coming downtown and I was running in high heels and a skirt (I'm sure it was very comical to watch as a passenger on board). We missed the second train, but ended up running all the way to the conference center anyway. At least now I know I can run in heels if I needed to. Liz and I were also happy to get in a good exercise for the day!


This is Daynes Jewelry Co. owned by my Grandpa. They just repainted the sign on the side of the building and I thought I would post a proud moment of my heritage. Most older people like to tell me that's where they got their diamond rings!

This is the crazy lady. At third quarter she comes and dances by the band and everyone chants, "Crazy Lady! Crazy Lady!"
We had a good homecoming win!

All the ice cream desserts were made to have six eat them not one! We enjoyed every bit of it!
Outside the ice cream shop was this truck...all I can say is good for them.

Utes Volleyball Game

Swoop came to see us, unfortunately there were too many camera's that wanted to take our picture and all eyes were not on mine.

The Apha Retreat

We made headbands for our powder puff game and hung them to dry. Puff paint is definately harder than it looks!
At the cabin we went for a night hike into the wilderness. We had to use the buddy system so we wouldn't be losing any girls in the process of hiking in the dark.
We fit about 25 girls into the cabin with the girls lined up like sardines in sleeping bags. I luckily went to bed early enough, if 3:00 can be called early, so I got to sleep in a nice bed!
Yes, there was an outhouse. It added character to the beautiful rustic scene!
We prepared a tepee fire for everyone to enjoy looking at. We decided against lighting it since all around us were wood chips as well!

The Spaghetti Factory. YUM.

I found out football players and track runners have a huge meal of spaghetti right before a game or race to help have that egde. I never would have thought all of those carbs and cheese could be good for you. I'll take that fact!
This could definately be considered one of the best meals all around. I love spaghetti!
Knives are just about as good as spoons to eat ice cream (aka spamomi, ya if you can even pronounce that!). Unfortunately her spoon dropped on the ground and almost on the people the level below us.

Regional Conference

We were a block away and three minutes away from getting there on time, twenty minutes later we found parking. I'll remember that for the next time I go to that beautiful conference center.

We were born to dance. We all tried to do the same pose, and this is how it turned out.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants

This was after the movie Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. It was perfect! I counted about two males in the whole audience, they were good sports.
Chile's is the best because it has my number one favorite food, chips and salsa! The molten lava cake tops it all off.

This is the cabin we stayed in, late at night it reminded me of the scary stories I was always afraid of as a child.
The so called black pool didn't look so black...
These were all the people waiting for Ole Faithful to go off. I didn't know it was such an event. Although we waited a little bit longer for Old Faithful is was worth the wait!

EFY!!!! You gotta love it. Since I cannot participate anymore I found another way in. One word, Counselor. Church camp may be nerdy but who cares right?! I have six different EFY cd's, its wonderful!
