The White House

We got to go to the White House this week. We brought our purses since we were going to work right after and apparently you cannot bring anything with you, not even a camera. To fix this dilemma we split up our group and held the banned items while the first group went in. This was us outside while we waited for everyone else.

We got the insider tips from the first group to ask the secret service people about the White House. They said if you don't ask then they won't tell. We took that advice to heart and asked everyone in every room what knowledge they had to share. We talked for a while with one of the secret service guys and he found out we worked on Capitol Hill. He said he had never been to Capitol Hill before so we offered him a tour of it. We decided that although he has never been to the Capitol "we can change" and reform this bond between the White House and Capitol Hill!
We will be giving a tour on Monday so we hope it will exceed his expectations!

Rule # 1 Do not take a flash picture of the constitution.
Rule # 2 Do not try to slip a toy gun through security like Jordan
Rule # No bags in the White House
Maybe you should have read the manual before you left; or maybe after 10 visits we will figure these things out.

Boo I am sad you guys couldn't accompany us inside and for us to go altogether! Was it the guy in the last room? The one that has worked in the White House for like 20+ years that you offered a tour to? Cause he was my favorite guy!
Let's have a play night soon! I miss you girls!
